How to Find Major Deals at Liquidation Warehouses

During the pandemic supply chain crisis, major retailers' store shelves were empty. Everything from TVs to sneakers were locked in container ships log-jammed at major ports. Now, many big box stores have too much inventory on their hands. It also includes $761 billion of merchandise return from pandemic-related online buying. These items are located at local liquidation warehouses, online or at flea markets for a huge discount.

Yep, my local auction house is like this. Some of the best deals on companies and people dumping their overstock. You may have to deal with a few broken items but it is worth it. Imagine buying 3.5 gallons of IPA for $4 or 24 bottles of Lysol for $6. Even a $500 air filter for $7.

That's what you call supplies...compared to the empty shelves in stores!!

I'm not an extreem minimalist but I do take some pointers from them here and there. I stopped buying stuff I really don't need. Because it all ends up unused at some point and then it just sits there collecting dust.

I work at one of these kinds of places and it's true so much product is coming in we can barely fit it all in the warehouse.

I’ve been working with liquidation, specifically with Target merchandise for about two years and it’s the best job I could ever ask for. ☺️

Can’t give them away ? Have you tried ? Cause I would definitely take some of that for free !!!

THE WORD CHOICE IN THIS VID IS HILARIOUS.

The same frenzy happened in the housing and job market. What comes up, must come down. Don’t get suckered into the “equity” game. Don’t pay for an overpriced home….paying 300K over real value isn’t building generational wealth…it will fluctuate back to its original price and will leave you in the negatives.

Buying a pallet of stuff reminds me of those storage war shows.

It's a bit misleading. You have to typically buy an entire pallet of mixed merch and you're most likely not going to use a majority of it unless you're a reseller on eBay or Amazon.

I've been taking advantage of this, recently purchased an AC unit that's currently being sold at $699 and got it for $200 at one of these liquidation locations. The AC was new still in the box.

I manage a large apartment building if you want to find a good deal. Go to Goodwill at the end/beginning of the month. Tenants donate a ton of nice stuff and also if they cant sell it they will give it away.

I was on business travel for several years. I travelled mostly with my car. I learned not to buy stuff because then you had to carry it around. At least I had my car trunk. What about people who travelled extensively by plane? They only had their luggage as storage.

So where is the info how or where to buy it? This video just talked about how much is out there in these warehouses judy sitting. But we still have to research where to locate them, have them shipped to home or business or pick up. The video is interesting to see the crazy amount of merchandise just sitting though.

“Can’t give it away” let’s fix that, Can’t sell it is more like it cause giving it away for free is not an option. A lot of people and non profits would benefit a lot by having some of these stuff
