Question to ask Canada Immigration Consultant

Let's face it when we start with Immigration to Canada or any country most of us don't have any knowledge and think the only way to do is through consultants.

I know many of the people out there watching will not be happy as I am giving away information for free which gets charged by Immigration Consultants but let's face it lots of immigration "consultants" simply waste your money. If you are considering going through the Consultant, you must be aware of these expenses and must ask if this is covered in the fee that you pay to them.

Also what additional work are they doing for which you are paying high fees. If you do on your own, you end up spending Approx. CAD 1900 or INR 1 Lakh per person.

Giving the approx. breakdown below.

Check the relevant links to find current charges. This expense I am sharing is for Express Entry Federal Skilled Worker Program. If you go for another program you will incur additional expenses in which you must go to the program and find it. They are also nominal fees.

Sl Activity Approx. Budget Per Person
1 Passport Renewals (If Required 1,500
2 Transcript from University (Depends on University fee) 3000
3 IELTS Exam (Approx.) 13,500
4 Education Credentials Assessment (ECA) 13000
5 Speed Post 1,097
6 Apply on CRS Free
7 ITA-CIC Free
8 Medical 4,225
9 PCC 500
10 eAPR 56,000
11 Any Affidavit if you need to make (Approx.) 2,000
12 VFS Charges (When you have to send your passport for Confirmation of PR) 1500
13 Biometric fingerprint 4500

Language test through the British Council or IDP Approx. INR 13,250 (Approx. CAD 330)

Passport Renewal (Sometimes to keep Passport valid)– Based on your country check the rates Police Verification – In India Passport Seva Kendra does this and is instant Rest I am intentionally not sharing as you will find a way to get the information.

I was lucky like many others who did the entire process on my own, I was anxious initially if I was doing it right, is it the right decision to do something for which such information is not available but I still went with my instincts and let me assure you I was right.

I spent collaborating information till such time i was confident. Government is very transparent and has given clear guidelines, you just need to go through their website and be in full control instead of giving entirely to the ultant which is a mistake many do. Also, most of the so-called Consultants who operate outside Canada are dubious and not even licensed.

There are cases where you might require legal assistance, where you might need the support of a skilled team but that should not be expensive, there are other ways to have your questions answered free of cost. Not necessarily should you pay a hefty price for something you could do yourself?

Please spread the good word, share it on social media so that people know the resources to rely upon and do the process on their own. Not only this save money, but you directly deal with the Canadian government. Also, it takes a lot of effort to put together such information and bring it to you as an easy process, hope you appreciate this and subscribe to keep getting such information in the future.

I applied for immigration through SINP PNP and Express Entry one year ago. My NOC is 3216 Medical Sonographer which was not select since May 2019.
Now, I want to change my NOC, if I delete the current express entry profile and SINP PNP profile and create new profiles with the new NOC. Suppose, I change our NOC from Medical Sonologist (3216) to Radiologist (3215) because the selection of this NOC is more than Medical Sonologist.
Change of NOC could negatively affect immigration process?
