Consciousness cannot be accounted for in physical terms. For consciousness is absolutely fundamental.

This video confuses consciousness with the mind... when the soul is what lives on than its the same as consciousness.. consciousness is metaphysical

Consciousness is not the function of the brain. Consciousness is more fundamental to the brain and to EVERYTHING!

Soul is who you are; identity
Spirit is what moves you; life
Consciousness is awareness (of your spirit, soul, or mind)
Mind: your emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and interpretations thereof (via, say, religion)

Consciousness is not a product of the brain🤦

Outside religion, we aren’t literally our brain organ. We don’t always control it as it just does its job and it does most by itself. The brain and mind is were information and thinking come from and are stored, but we aren’t literally the brain and the mind isn’t just the brain organ. The whole human body is us, not just the brain and nervous system. We just happen to be mortal so that’s why we die if we get decapitated or sometimes when we get shot in the head. The brain is the most weakest part of us thus why we die if it’s too damaged or severed from the rest of the body. But we aren’t literally our brains. They are just our most complex organ that just happens to keep us running. But we and our brain organs aren’t the same. Remember, we are pure energy thus the body is a more streamline way for us to easy comprehend the physical world because of our species has evolved from over time from microscopic organisms to the human beings we are now. And whether you believe in a God and in the afterlife or reincarnation, could have merit because when we die our energy returns to the universe as as pure energy we can’t truly die as energy cannot be truly destroyed. We are celestial beings and are forever.

I realize it's easy to get confused about these things but the essence of our being and consciousness are exactly the same thing as being strictly awareness which is before all things which appear within our awareness. I believe this belief is quite strongly evidenced in science and is found in the scriptures of every major religion though most know it not. 🙏

When science don't have any scientific methods to know about the soul and thus can't state that the soul is different from consciousness. How can we say that the religious or spiritual references to soul are different from the consciousness?

What are you terming consciousness, seems just what the awareness means. Can someone be conscious without being aware? You are definitely not aware when in deep sleep, but are you conscious in deep sleep? Yes, because when you wakeup you know you were sleeping and was not aware. You don't assume that, you know that.

I personally have experience to see & hear things during my brain surgery when I was under general anesthesia. I was not aware that time, but the experience made me conscious of the happenings. Not all persons are able to differentiate the experience of their consciousness without being aware. The spiritual people practice to experience that. And when you can be conscious without being aware, this means you can be conscious without your body, as I also did experienced during my surgery. That is why some spiritualists or religious may call this the soul(a thing apart from your body), which is your true consciousness.

Consciousness, in my opinion, is the awakening of the soul ( the formless) into egoic form.

The soul awakens through processing information, from the egoic, sense experience, into knowledge, thus becoming consciously awakened to its presence here as ego.

We emerge from boundless, formless knowledge, into physical form in order to experience autonomy through the egoic experience.

The reason for this is to generate variables from our individual, egoic life experiences.

Variables ( information) are processed through the quantum field via the physical brain, into knowledge ( a thing known.)

A thing known such as the known universe "emerges" from the all knowing boundless and formless into cosmic consciousness (awareness) and from there Into form.

Currently the human form is not processing information correctly and arriving at knowledge of the information being processed but is forming opinions and beliefs which are held as thought forms on the mental planes ( subconscious)

Everything that we bear witness to in physical life is " knowledge" in form ( knowledge particulars) and the physical biological universe has emerged from the formless, through the quantum fields.

Variables are the food of the formless.

You say this definitively but there is such a wide array of ideas on consciousness, from purely brain function to a fifth fundamental property. By no means a settled issue.

In your experience, right now, whatever you are aware of belongs to the category of objective reality. What is objective? That which appears to consciousness. Then what is consciousness? Clearly, it cannot be an object. Anything that is an object must be an object to consciousness. So, the pure subject, which is not an object, which is the one which is aware of everything—including mind—that is consciousness according to Advaita Vedānta.

Consciousness is debatable but soul i would translate it to quantum state if it is even something

Consciousness doesn't come from brain, 1st you need to understand that.

The soul is pure timeless conscioussnes. The Body is just the case. We are not the body we are the soul. The brain has something to do with the 7 chakras. When the 7 chakras are open we can perceive everything differently with the body, when the 7 chakras are open and always evolving and when that happens the brain becomes more and more active. When that happens, only the body changes, and then it becomes usable as a better tool of the soul, because that's what it is. That's all, so we can also perceive and interact with everything with the body. The soul controls the body. We have human experiences with the body and not spiritual experiences with the soul

Is there evidence that supports “consciousness is produced by matter” or “consciousness creates matter”?

Having a soul would be an experience, and consciousness is about experience. What if consciousness is what leads to one having the experience related to having a soul?

I believe the soul is based on positive actions anchored in one's character and integrity shown during certain situations. One cultivates soul by being good with their experiences in life, by having positve conscious experience.
