@3:04 Once you launch F4SE from that shortcut, to see if it's running F4SE, just click Settings, and in the lower right corner it will display v(F4SE 0.6.23 rel 25) or whatever version of F4SE you downloaded.

Side note if you ever want to do a clean install, delete the fallout 4 folder. If you are using vortex you have to remove all the mods from the launcher or the next time you reinstall your game won't launch right.
Otherwise so long as you don't delete the fallout 4 folder you can Uninstall the game and reinstall it and have all your mods although that carries the risk of some files being corrupted and your game crashing or failing to launch. Always safer just to go for a clean install every time

I don't know why, but my F4SE crashes the second I start it up, it'll load the screen but it will close afterward immediately after startup, what did I do wrongg?

hey, im, having some problems with the se, every time i run f4se.exe or whatever, it says "Couldn't Find Fallout4.exe", could this happen for using xbox game pass launcher and not steam or some shit like that?

I have done everything like you said, created a shortcut, but when I load into the game nothing shows up that FRSE is loaded. There is no mod config or anything at all. Let me know if you can help me!!!

The only thing that went right for me witb this entire video was the website for the script extender loading up. Nothing else was the same. From the moment I clicked on “open file” nothing was like on your screen, all I want to do is just enjoy some fallout, whys it got to be so difficult?? I won’t lie I’m close to selling this entire setup and going back to console.
