2. Extract the downloaded archive
3. Copy all files from the extracted folder
4. Paste them into the Fallout 4 root folder

mine says it cannot find Fallout.exe even though it is in the main directory I have been trying to fix this for two days now to no luck please help. To keep in mind, I am using Xbox PC for this. But any help would work.

dude i have no idea why but my f4se just refuses to start. no idea why. i have it in my vortex and my game directory, shortcut made and everything. when i try and launch it through the shortcut my screen goes blank for a few seconds, acts like its loading, then it just closes the program. any shot in the dark solutions? any help would be much appreciated, ive put 6-8 hours into finding the mods for this playthrough and the trouble shooting and got to play for about 30 seconds before the f4se error started to pop up

My F4SE doesn’t open as a folder it opens as a document with loads of coding lol. Know how to fix that?

i got FO4 thru the Xbox store F4SE can't locate my Fallout 4 file for some reason maybe because it was developed to work with steam and Xbox is a little different in regards to how i can access my file hopefully someone can confirm that buying thru Xbox was the problem before i buy Fallout on the steam app i feel like that will fix my issue with F4SE just refusing to find my Fallout 4 pc file
