I like that one of the cells is colored, very aesthetically pleasing.

Man I just finished the Minecraft video and I can't wait for this 4D documentary you're talking about!

For thoose who dont know, its a illusion, the cube in the middle actually isnt moveing the tesseract is spinning

Some others are making one of original tesseract rotations slow down to 2^(-600) or 0.5^600

Please make an hour of this. I need to stare at it while high until it makes sense.

They are all also double rotating in XZ as well, which basically makes the XW and ZW look the same only phase shifted 90 degrees. It woul make sense if there was only the pure 4D rotation, so people might not confuse the two.

Any good resources on understanding rotation in the 4th dimension, at least from a linear algebra perspective if not from an intuitive perspective?

My 2-d Stickmen I drew in 1st grade- This is how the incomprehensible 3rd dimension looks like, we call it a "cube"

it's like those slippery water tubes i gurantee everyone has grew up with in the 2000's

For those who don't know what happens this is called a double rotation and that's when two perpendicular rotations are happening at the same time and can't go back with one rotation

Cool you highlighted all the 3 difrent 3D spaces that exists in "super-position" so they are more redable

ERM ACTUALLY- they're all doing the rotation listed plus an XZ rotation

The fact that it's 4-D represented in 3-D is insane, it's confusing and makes it impossible to understand the way it rotates
And the truth is if it was really 4-D some part or full part of it would completely disapear from our dimension

It's like pulsing it's size more than rotating

Calling a tesseract a "3d cube" is like calling a cube a "3d square"

I understand now. Just lkke how we can see the inside of 2 dimensional objects like boxes, 4d creatures can see the inside of js 3d creatures

i wonder what this would look like if you used a 3d slice of 4d space rather than a projection of 4d onto 3d
