Finally got the 2020 YZ250FX up in the mountains! I’ve been laying off riding this bike so that I can keep the hours lower and save some of those hours for mountain single track before the bike is given away in June. It preformed really well on the trails I took the bike on. These forks and this chassis are fantastic for this type of riding!

Enjoy the video!

Karen (my wife), Kaylee, Konnor Kase, and Kenzie (the kids) thank you for using these links. It is one of the ways we are supporting our family right now.

Nice to hear u giving this bike a lot of love. But i have never heard u ring it out in a few gears. I think people would be shocked to hear how fast this engine is, its a screamer mid to upper rpms range.

Those grassy sections look fun as hell. I love trails that are super flowy and windy without loads of tight turns. Good stuff!

I know this is an old post. I think this is my favorite trail you have ridden. I think I could do that one. 60 yrs old almost beginner

I thought I would be first to comment. It's like a deep life lesson. There's always someone faster.

I'm 49, been riding dirt bike on trails for 1.5 yrs, started on an old wr250f, now have a 17 awesome bike! Balanced, nimble, linear power.... but it moves when ringing it out in first and second! Idle turned way up, and lots of clutch control, awesome woods bike... only stalls when I make a mistake, love it!!!

This has enough power for most of the riders. If you cross a river no issue because of the high possitioned air filter. No smashed exhaust in the front and it can be tuned with an app. Just mount tubeliss and gummy tires. Hehe

Man I was really waiting for you to stretch that engine out. It sounds like time to shift but those 4 stroke man. They rev out and settle right in.

Great stuff as always. Any chance you'll be testing the 125x in the future?

Overheard my husband talking to Kyle as if he was in the room while watching his latest video....he is going crazy waiting for the trials to open. Would love a shout out to Leo in Canada to get him through this! lol

I would love to see you do a tear down video of comparable KTM and Yamaha models. Everyone knows that KTM’s are super light and nobody knows exactly where they shave the weight from. It’d be a really cool video to see two torn down side by side and comparing the weight of components and charting it.

Just got home from my first Mountain Single Track ride on my new Beta X-Trainer that you inspired me to buy! (Hobble Creek)

Easier to be fast and consistent on the four stroke and is more planted, makes you feel like a better rider, but in the end you get bored! The 250x has same suspension, feels lighter, and if you're riding for fun is exactly that, more fun.

I’ve always been a die hard 2 stroke rider especially for single track, but this bike has definitely curved my interest it just seems so darn smooth over the ruff stuff.

I ride a little bit of mountain bike also but those guys we're hating you. Time on Earth spent on a dirt bike on a trail like you have there is the best

I don't think I've ever read or watched a bad review on the SSS forks on the YZ or WR. This bike is on my dream list. Too bad I can't ride it year round in California.

Cracker bike hey, you can bomb rough down hill sections too with those stock SSS KYB forks . 200hr plus trouble free and no costs for a more affordable sport that is a Yamaha . Proven since 2008 on my watch with my riding buddies and some of there choices in bike brand !!! Big list accumulated of issues with cost and inconveniences involved, , , Great trails you have there.

Nice..Like to see you push the bike on tight technical stuff to see how it handles it. Curious to know no if there are any flame outs, overheating, etc
