Baal, the electro archon, AKA the Raiden Shogun, is a character coming to Genshin Impact soon, and I wanted to discuss today why I think she'll perform the way I think she'll perform, based on the other archon characters Mihoyo has given us. There are a few things to look at here that bring me to the conclusions I've made in the video. Baal lover for life.

I agree. After seeing her kit she will be the best battery in the game and quite possible one of if not the best sub-dps in the game. Her ult looks really cool but i still think that she is better as Sub-DPS allowing characters like Eula (as you mentioned) to charge her ult very easily and doing some pretty good amount of damage while at it. Lets see how she plays once her trial arrives. I still dont know if i want to pull for her since i dont have DPS characters that really need her but lets wait to see

I think that we can speculate on Archons' abilities looking at those of the Travellers. For the time being the pattern is that they are a less powerfull version of every Archon, they have the same role but their abilities are inverted
With inverted I mean like: Anemo Traveller's skill is a mini version of Venti's burst, a spherical vortex, Venti's skill is a vertical vortex like Traveller's burst. Geo Traveller's skill is literally a meteor in the description like Zhongli's burst is a meteor and Traveller's burst is a AoE geo dmg attack that forms barriers all around like Zhongli's skill when you hold it with the only difference being that instead of geo barriers Zhongli forms a shield. So you see that every archon's burst becomes traveller's skill and their skill become traveller's burst but all less powerful and effective. Now do the same thing with Baal and I think you can have her kit pretty much, ofc her will be more powerfull and complex, but the basis is that.

I don't know what mihoyo was thinking will making venti and ganyu . They both character literally breaks the game! Venti was my first 5* I reroll like 30+ times to get him! Since than I still haven't been get bore of him. He always most valuable character for me and Zhongli also too. I still think that zhongli didn't need buff .

I hope if the Hydro Archon has to be a healer, then the weapon isn't a catalyst :'3 but at the same time, Fontaine is about Justice(?) and a book does seem the most fitting :'(

I’ve also noticed the traveler’s skills for a region is usually pretty similar to the archon of the region

For anemo it’s cc for the ult
For geo it’s geo dmg burst
And now baal is er battery like the traveler


Obi the traveler is a weaker version but just a speculation
