Hino 300 turbo diagnostics. No power

We had this vehicle come in to us. we show you how to diagnose faulty turbo on a Hino 300 small tipper. Had no power but still drives.
Was the Actuator at fault , you can by the actuator over seas but you need to get the numbers of it.
and then wait.

this was a pretty common fault for the 300 series trucks of this era. when i worked for the dealer we would do at least 1 a month in warranty. they would usually present a P0045 fault or can U1123 fault, heat is a big killer, ones out of warranty i would cover VNT unit with heat reflective tape
it's a good idea to do exhaust studs around the same time as they are known to break the front studs in service. I believe the newer generation has the VNT controller block mounted.

can you please share where you were finding the VNT controller repair kits O/Seas ?

Can these turbos fail without the fault codes? I've got one only getting 7psi boost checked with map and boost gauge to compare. New injectors and everything else checks out ok. Starts and drives fine just lacks power mainly noticable when loaded.

I have this same problem with my Dutro. However I am unable to source the turbo and actuator. Any help would be great thanks.

Helli guys. I have a Hino 300 Bus, We di work on the engine . replaced Big ends and Main bearings. After installing the engine we tried to start. There was no power supply on injector wires. Power supply was everywhere except injectors. They couldnt open and spray Desiel. We checked all the wires..Fuses relays sensors.. it cant be the computer because it was starting before stripped it

This could be my problem,
2018 hino 616, 300
Running as smooth as it could, hooked up the caravan, unloaded it and the engine was vibrating, (shaking )
Hino couldn't find anything, Another mechanic replaced all the engine and GB mounts, another mechanic said it was fuel but done nothing.Rattle is where turbo is but it has happened only since towing caravan,
And this is when stationary..I'm lost for ideas
