(Little Beach - Newcastle - Fernleigh Track- One Mile - Tarbuck Bay)

Enjoying cycle touring the beautiful East Coast of Australia continues. With the help of a few ferries we were able to hop along the coast ducking into secluded beach spots when we could.

Omg, I heard you say hitch hike. NEVER hitch in Australia, sadly we have some very nasty people here! Also it's illegal.
Fun video, especially since i knew every step of every piece of road and water you travelled ( we spell travelled with 2 L's)😁
I'm surprised you didn't see koalas at One Mile, there used to be heaps of them there.

I have done a fair bit of bike touring over the years and decided to try on an ebike this year.

Lets just say its a pain in the ass. Ill be going back to a gravel bike. Can get about 150km per day on the ebike but its impossoble to charge. All the "24hr" rest stops wont let me sleep there but cars are fine for some reason.

Funny how you can be homeless here in qld and smoke drugs in the park but i cant sray at a rest stop if i have a tent.

Anyone else having serious issues trying to find places to sleep?

Crikey that cut was bad.There must have been a lot of blood. It should have been stitched or at least had sutres across it to hold it together. No way you would want that to get infected. Dose it with whiskey to kill any germs. I hope it has now healed for Darin. Just goes to show a good deed never goes unpunished.

I never noticed before that the Rads were not using front panniers. I'm super curious as to why you put most of the gear on the rear pannier vs spreading it all out between rear and front panniers. I was planning on using front and rear panniers but now I'm second guessing myself.
