Shredding Mogo Trails | Exploring the NSW South Coast's newest MTB destination

The Mogo Trails network has been a long time coming, but now the first 70km of the 130km mountain bike park is open!

With a mix of what we've deemed quirky tech flow, there's everything from big bike park-style features to janky tech lines that take a fair bit of concentration.

Come along as Em, Lia, Lyndon, and Nick explore the brand-new trails and everything else this little town has to offer.

Heads up for anyone planning a trip, all the footage between 2:28 and 3:09 is on a trail that isn't open yet. They show the closed trail again at 7:39 in the drone footage

its a bit of false advertising considering alot of the cool footage of all the jump lines big berms aren't even open yet. bare that in mind if you intend to head down to ride them .

Should reserve final judgment until these are fully open but:
Very spread out, not much in the way of obvious loops to do where you start and finish at same spot. Multiple trail heads that have no logical convergence.
What I saw was pretty much machine smoothed and lacking in feel. Maybe some converted walking trails or existing tracks?
Just seemed dry, overly wide trails lacking in any real character.
Mogo has a long way to go if it ever wants to be a mtb tourist spot. No accommodation, no pub, not much else to speak of.
Sure you can scrape some trails in the dirt but it will seriously need to do more if you want the masses to come.
