Gran Turismo in REAL LIFE

After thousands of racing gamers competed online, 12 of them were flown out from around the world to Atlanta Motorsports Park for an NFL-style combine evaluation. Since I made the jump from gamer to IRL champion myself, I was invited to judge these drivers. Based on their performance in this event and another later this Spring, each of these gamers have the chance to be drafted into a real life racing pro-championship hosted by @racing_prodigy later this year... But who will prevail?

Guys, I shared the Racing Prodigy story with you all last year, and some of you actually got the chance to drive a real race car because of it. There are even more slots available for Prodigy Week 2 in the Spring, so if you were on the fence about it, hopefully this video is the motivation you need to take the leap. Remember! You don't necessarily need to be an "alien" on the simulator to get selected by the Prodigy Search Committee, just be able to tell a good story!

Amp kart mechanic here: every one of the crg karts had that same breaking issue, we were always fussing with it to get them to have break pressure the first time you tried it because public drivers didn't catch that pumping them helped

3:30 As a teen who has also bad experiences with karts, ive also been in a situatuion where the brakes arent working as intended, except they dont work AT ALL so i could imagine the fear when the brakes arent working properly/in the first place

This video changed me, i'm not even kidding. I am struggling with the expense of starting a karting career and hopefully moving up all the way to either formula E or Indycar, and this is just a game changer. I'm glad to be able to have an opportunity for something like this, I will definitely try my luck this year on street kart racing!

We were the first karts to have an event on the road course with WKA.
1 of my favorite tracks! I only needed to brake twice 😄👍🏾
AMP makes it an easy track to learn.
I didn’t have a camera back then, but a couple of the guys posted their videos from their faster class races.
I’ve never been on the kart track though.

2:57 true i was so light i had to have weights on my right side and most corners went left so the car wouldnt turn so i was almost always a back marker except in wet races i would normally win them all having 6 wins under my belt 5 wet and 1 in dry personally my best drive ever with like e=very good competitors
