Ski specific core exercises would be great. Love your channel and great tips. I'd add angulation vs inclination when weighting the outside ski.

I agree !!
Your core is the glue that helps the skier to work between the 2 platforms . . . the slope below and the torso/arms above. PSIA only regards it as upper and lower body separation. That's not the whole picture.

I was on a chairlift and someone told me his friend fractured his spine because he was skiing ice with manmade snow. So remember the risk.

Watch the video in slow motion. Is she really weighting the outside ski as much as she says she is? As she brings her skis beneath her body, is she bending (flexing up) her knees and staying low or is she extending her legs and rising up? Why is this important? What are the crucial elements that lead to edge grip on ice? Could a one-legged skier also achieve grip on ice? If so, then "weighting the outside ski" is not the critical component.
