I saw Ozzie and Jake in 1986 for the ultimate center tour at the LongBeach Arena. Metallica with Cliff Burton were opening up on their master of puppet store. That was my first metal concert. Ozzie has been my favorite growing up, but in more recent years, hearing that he Screwed over Jake Lee with monetary compensation has made me rethink how cool Ozzie was. I also got to see Jake play with red Dragon cartel in Costa Mesa before the pandemic. If you haven’t seen his us festival performance from 1983 do yourself a favor and go watch that on YouTube.
