I'm stunned! I heard it just a while ago. I'm so happy he's surviving. He's a generational talent, it would be a tragedy to lose him like this. Hes a martial artist too, and probably figures he can take care of himself, but who walks their dog in a rough area at 2:30 in the morning? I just watched an interview with him a couple days ago. He's one of my absolute favorite players ever, get well soon Jake!

Bad things can happen at any time. Never have a false sense of security. Your head should always be on a swivel. You never know where the threat will come from. Not paranoid, just diligent. Especially in todays wild world. It's sad but true. I always sit in the seat where I can see the door and know where the exits are. I learned that in the military. It still applies, and that's a shame.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a gang initiation, similar to what happened to Larry Carlton back awhile ago.

In Carlton’s case, they asked “where you from, cuz?” (Hint- they aren’t asking where you’re from) and shot him at his front door, with a full gang member off to the side somewhere seeing if his homie pulled it off or not.

I could be wrong, but it smells like an imitation to me. I’ve heard too many of these things take place back in the 80s and 90s.

I remember the first time I saw the Ultimate Ozzy video tape of the Ultimate Sin tour. It blew my mind how good Jake was. I was in complete awe. I watched that entire video 100's of times until it eventually wore out. I hope he's okay and recovers completely.
