One of the most beautiful area ever... Magnificent heavenly voices...!

Wonderful to hear Josephine Veasey singing with Joan Sutherland. I heard her live a couple of times, perhaps the best Didon (Les Troyens) of her time.

Exquisite. I've often heard the version with Sutherland, Horne, and Conrad. Pavarotti had such sweetness in his voice then, and retained it for many years. Horne really has no competition, she's in her own class, and Sutherland of course was Queen of Bel Canto.

A triumph to have the three of them performing together. A vocal feast.

Quest' opera meriterebbe di essere più rappresentata...!

There really is no tenor like Luciano, for me anyways. God rest his soul.

I have always found Orombello an ideal role for Pavarotti. Great vocalism was offered by the ladies however the singing is disconnected from the text.
