Joh. 8:32 "and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

In this video, Sonny gives his testimony of how God saved him and was led to the UBM by the Lord, where he found the truth of the word of God being taught!

Early in his life, he had inherited a spirit of rejection when he came to find out that the ones who were raising him were not his real parents...

His parents were religious and did not know how to show love. By God's grace, they took him to Sunday school so he had some exposure to God. He gave his life to Jesus and was baptized in his early years but as he got older, he went his own way...

His biological father was an alcoholic who he had seen a few times. And like his father, Sonny became an alcoholic.

Lev. 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life."

After hitting rock bottom, he told God he was not going to find a church anymore or go to any preacher, that if He was God He would come to find him.... and he said God spoke to him and told him He would be a Father to him, that He's a Father to the fatherless.

Jesus has given us His life and the power to overcome; he has given us a new nature!

Gal. 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me."

1 Joh. 1:7 "but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin."

When you walk in the light, Jesus Christ washes away the natural blood that was passed on to you from your parents, which is the sin nature.
