Algebra 2 Section 1 4 Solving Absolute Value Equations

I love this technique for solving absolute value equations but there is an error in the last example. You HAVE to check your solutions in the original equation if there are variables both in and out of the absolute value symbol. For the last example, the answer of -1 does not actually work so there is only one solution which is x=4.
