Improving Palliative Care in the First World Countries

José Pereira is a Palliative Care Physician and is Co-Founder and Scientific Officer of Pallium Canada. He is also Director of Research at The College of Family Physicians of Canada. He collaborates with the ATLANTES Research Program of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra. During a visit to the ICS, Prof. Pereira explained how the developed countries can improve the quality of their palliative care services. Also, he addressed the specialization in palliative care.
