In Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), a bridge domain is a Layer 2 forwarding domain that defines a broadcast domain within an ACI fabric. It allows communication between endpoints within the same bridge domain and provides isolation between different bridge domains. Bridge domains can be configured with various attributes, such as security policies, Quality of Service (QoS) settings, and DHCP services. They can also be associated with Virtual Routed Forwarding (VRF) instances to enable Layer 3 routing within the bridge domain.
