a day in the life of an OXFORD UNIVERSITY student

welcome to a day in my life at oxford !! this video has been a long time in the making, and was filmed during my year studying at oxford during the 2020-2021 academic year.

i’m a visiting student spending my junior year at oxford, and i’m going back to harvard for my senior year in fall 2021. please try to keep in mind that my experience may be different than other oxford students! this in no way encapsulates a typical day at oxford, and it changes all the time for me. some days i’m grinding in the library all day, and other days i don’t even open my laptop or a book. but i wanted to show you what a day rowing, working in libraries, going to tutorial, and pubbing with friends looked like.

Oxford has been my dream school ever since I was a child. At first it was the beautiful campus that made me feel like I was transported into another world. And now it’s just academic ambition as well. Unfortunately, due to the cost and my location, I couldn’t apply. But I hope I can get my doctorate degree there.
