Travis’s Fimmel’s portrayal of Ragnar is just incredible. He just gets this crazy look in his eye while also being somewhat of a jester. For instance the “who wants to be king” scene. He is just messing with people while also daring people to do something.

When Aslaug sees Bjorn she sighs in relief When Ragnar walks by Bjorn he’s staring straight at Harald. When Harald sees Ragnar his dream was snatched from him.

Something I love about this scene is when Harold and Ragnar make eye contact you can see that at first Harold is trying to come off as nonchalant toward Ragnar but as he gets the chance to feel Ragnar's full attention on him for like a second, his expression shifts to fear and awe

Bjorn looked way more of a badass with his hair like this, rather than his shaved head now in season 6... should have kept the and dam, Ragnar was such a badass character man. No matter what he was always the alpha in every room. And always oozing charisma. Great actor...

So much in this scene. Ragnar's kids playing chess. Harald has no idea that he will be fighting against the sons of Raganr up until his death. The way he looks at Ragnar in amazement is truly remarkable acting ability.

I like how Aslaug was holding her tongue til she saw bjorn and felt safe to say how she truly felt. I know they never had the greatest relationship but she trusted him nevertheless

Little detail, but cool that they paid attention to it, look how bold and dark Harald’s tattoos are here and how faded they’ve gotten by the current season. That’s what happens when tattoos are exposed to the sun over a period of time, especially face tattoos that are exposed at all times.
