Friedrich Nietzsche. Eternal Recurrence. Eternal Return. Panpsychism.
It is eerily persuasive, once understood. But has it been understood once?
It is at the intersection of panpsychism (in Nietzsche’s case, defined as attribution of sensation and volition to the essence of reality, to the basic, elementary units of existence [shall we, for now, call them “quanta”?]) and quantum physics, of which Nietzsche, by himself and especially through Johann Gustav Vogt, had certain “premonitions”, that the keys to Nietzsche’s cosmological concept of Eternal Recurrence are found.
