All right people, check this out. I work all day with tools in my hand and this tool was a game changer for me. I was using the DeWALT 20V and corded angle grinders for years cutting different things but when Ryobi came out with this tool first, I bought one and it worked great but the best thing was it was LIGHTWEIGHT. As soon as this one came available from DeWALT I ordered one and tossed the Ryobi in the corner. This thing makes working all day cutting tile a breeze...and yes, as soon as that vac came out I got it as well. I actually keep both tools in the carry bag the vacuum comes in.

Angle grinders and reciprocating saws have been our bestfriends, I need this in my tool list.

Nice video! Make sure to remove the battery whenever changing any blade though sir.

Where can I find that clear plastic square that you are using?

The multipurpose blade DeWalt gives can be used for metal. I cut 0.05” stainless with it. Cuts like butter. Just remember to remove the plastic extractor hood before cutting metal.

Make SURE any blade you buy is rated over 20, 000 rpm. There are a lot of 3” blades rated at 10, 500 or so. Don’t use those. They may explode!

Just bought mine today. I just love the compactness and yet very powerful brushless motor. I have dewalt brand tools so this will be another great addition to all my other dewalt power tools.

I love this tool, what would seem like to take forever cutting the wire shelves it takes me seconds to do all the shelves I need to cut, love it

I remember suggesting the blade and thanks for this follow up. I think I might finally pick up this combo.

Based on your recommendation, I purchased the Dewalt Hepa Handheld Vac to use for dust collection, but it does not fit into the dust collection port on the cut off tool because it is too long and tapered. It looks like you may have cut off part of the nozzle on the handheld vac hose. Did you modify the hose to fit the cut off tool extraction port?

I kinda like a small pump bottle with water, pressurize bottle set it so a thin jet comes off and use that to cool the blades, or get some 1/8" inch ice maker line, and hose connector, with shut off. is the other way like to cool blades.

Awesome little tool! I scored one at HD with two DeWalt XR batteries (4 & 6 AH) and a charger plus carrying bag all for $199 at the HD Black Friday sale (or pre-sale, as it is).

I have the milwaukee version and they are awesome, total life saver for cutting new electrical outlets in existing tile and even plaster. I would have been trying to cut those with an abrasive multitool blade. Fyi for the M12 version, get the bigger batteries

So to me the most important thing is how rough or smooth is a straight rip. It would be great to see this done with an in depth view of the edge it leaves behind on different material.

What’s a dressing stone use for? Do you have a link for the one in your video? How do you take off the sharp edges of tile after cutting? Do you have a recommendation and link?

Hey buddy, amazing video. I'm a tile installer, and I have to do a lot of cuts on tile walls, which is already installed, 6 x 2 inches .The material is American matte tile porcelain. Do you think this tool could work?

I have the m12 version of this tool, & was very disappointed until I got the 6.0 batteries. It's alot better now but I've still heard the dewalt is way better for this tool. Makes sense being dewalt is 20v vs the milwaukee is 12v

What kind of Pencil/marker you used in this video?

I’m on the fence about buying this or the Dewalt angle grinder. I need to cut a large disc padlock off my storage unit. But I want to also have a small enough tool to cut kitchen tile I want to install. What do you think is my best bet?
