Disney's Artemis Fowl Teaser Trailer REACTION!

Disney’s ARTEMIS FOWL releases in U.S. theaters on August 9, 2019!

Directed by Kenneth Branagh and based on the beloved book by Eoin Colfer, ARTEMIS FOWL follows 12-year-old genius Artemis Fowl, a descendant of a long line of criminal masterminds, as he finds himself in a battle of strength and cunning against a powerful, hidden race of fairies who may be behind his father’s disappearance.

The film stars Ferdia Shaw, Lara McDonnell, Tamara Smart, Nonzo Anozie, with Josh Gad, and Judi Dench. Judy Hofflund and Kenneth Branagh are producing with Angus More Gordon and Matthew Jenkins serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Conor McPherson.

I have been waiting for YEARS for this movie! I can’t wait to see more. I’m hoping the following trailers get better for the audience that is not familiar with the books. Not sure this one grabs the attention of that audience.

Eoin Cofer was the 2nd kids author to receive a 500pound advance for the first Artemis Fowl novel in this brilliant series!  This happened between Harry Potter and The Prisoner Of Azkaban and The Goblet Of Fire book releases!  With all the hype of the Harry Potter novels and films, Artemis Fowl was left to the back burner, which didn't worry Eoin Cofer one bit because he'd already been a successful children's author!! I truly hope that this is the first of movie in the whole

I think you and I are like the biggest fans. You should definitely reread them but also get the kids in to it. LOOOVE the series but yep.. never got past 3 I think

I read the books and I am a huge fan of them, I am curious as to why Artemis has a blaster though... he isn't the type to pick up a weapon. Not only that but Butler has a bow, I hope they do not take away his guns!

I've read all the series. They are quite excellent, even if a few plot threads never get fully resolved in the long term.

I feel that this is going to be a bust on such a wonderful book series. The actor just doesn't convey the look Artemis has been given in the books with being the cold master manipulator he is. I also feel that the manor seen in the trailer needs to be on a less forested hill (assuming its Fowl Manor). There's little things here and there that I feel were changed when it is completely dishonorable to the books to change them. However I did find the effects and CGI to be assuming, and how they used Mr. Colfer's Fairy language in the end with Artemis's name.

I been planning on reading them in along time. Just didn't ever got the chance in reading the series. Everytime I would go and want to pick up the series of Artemis Fowl to buy. You know! To read the series. I always find another amazing series to read. But hoping soon!!! I'll pick it up now. To read the books. Watch the movie as well.
