I did the Delos-only guided tour based on your recommendation off of a cruise ship in late October last year. Based on the number of cruisers taking this tour (booked through the cruise line, no doubt at a markup), I can absolutely believe that the groups would be very large in the summer, as the cruise groups were in the 30-40 range you mentioned. We purchased at the dock and our group was significantly smaller (maybe 20 people). Definitely worth the €60 (or was it €65?) each we paid.

Thanks again for all of your work. You've done a great job in packing so much information in a sub-ten minute video, and it was very helpful during our short visit to Greece.

I did the Mykonos trip to Delos last year. I went on a guided tour and there was only one trip that day, we didn't get to see the whole of the island or museum. If there are 2 trips on the day (AM and PM), I would go on the AM tour with a guide (recommended) and then come back on the PM tour boat, that way you can see the whole of the island. I would have loved to have walked up to the top of that hill

Recently, last month I did Santorini trip for 2 nights. Really love the peacefulness during the off season. In the future, I wanna try Mykonos. But Athens was really damn cold on the 30-31 Jan 2024. Acropolis was almost empty during the afternoon strong storm and it was really chilly and numb my hands on the spot. It feels like 0°C like in Copenhagen.

All of your videos are very helpful to someone who has never visited Greece. I had read that there is a ferry from Mykonos to Delos and not connected to any tour group. Is that true? I would like to do both a tour and then non tour. Going in mid April.

Im planning to rent a car for Mykonos. If I choose to go to a day trip, Do I just park the car at the port and take the ferry to Delos (leaving the car at the parking lot for the entire duration?)

Disagree on the heat question in Delos. Bring water, a hat, and sunscreen, depending on the time of year. Since this is a birthplace of Apollo the sun god, there is a legend that the sun always shines on the Island. I don't know about that, but it sure did when we were there.
