what we wish we knew BEFORE we went to MYKONOS

Just some things to keep in mind before you go

There are many different beaches on the island. I went to the beaches in the southern part and in my opinion they were amazingly beautiful. 😊

Of course more than half of the beaches are free. But you choose to go on the beach clubs. You can always go in free beach

We were there this year August, and according to my son, land of the rip off, i agree!! The beach club 250 usd plus purchse a bottle of drink, 60 usd minimum required... everything is sky high.. do not go in the peak of the summer like we did...

So many other islands to visit, less touristy, just research the beaches if that’s what you want.

Speak about a holiday yes Mykonos is a beautiful 🤩 place but very expensive.but it not expensive as going to Italy 🇮🇹 or France 🇫🇷 and you can’t get what Mykonos offers compared to the other places.🇬🇷👍

So I think this really depends on where your coming from. Yes. I do think it’s very expensive and I live in Colorado, but I don’t think it’s more expensive than going to London or New York or staying at a high end hotel in Las Vegas. And if you don’t eat in the hotel, you can find places that have drinks under 12euros, gyros etc. your paying for location and this might be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been

There is bus to go to all the beaches, if you went taxi is because you don’t want to take a bus and also you ca. afford it
