Hello. This is the third session of ‘Dr. Tomato Protocol’.
Starting today, we will get into theoretical lecture.
Today’s lecture topic What are the main symptoms that determine if a patient has autism.
I will talk about 2 main symptoms that define autism.
It is very important to understand those symptoms.
They are the key and essential symptoms.
When those symptoms become better autism gets better, and when they get worse, autism becomes worse.
Unfortunately, currently, these ‘essential symptoms’ are not understood well.
I think that in order to cure autism, we must fight against these ‘essential symptoms’, or ‘reasons’ of autism.
I will give some explanations in order to help your understanding.
Autistic disorder is called ‘sociability disorder’.
However, just like the name ‘autism’, ‘sociability disorder’ is also not a name that describes the reason for the disorder.
This name describes the results.
I will give some examples.
There are multiple diseases that contribute in creating sociability disorder.
People with intellectual disability develop sociability disorder as their intellectual ability decreases.
Depression also contributes to sociability disorder.
So does hearing and visual impairment.
These ‘reasons’ for sociability disorder have names.
When people use the word ‘social disorder’ or ‘autistic disorder’, they can only explain the results, not the mechanism of why those disorders occur.
That is why there is not a clear method on determining if a patient that has autism is improving.
Also, there are cases where people try to understand autism with only sensory seeking behavior and homologous behavior.
They think that people without those two behaviors do not have autism, and people that have them do. This is also incorrect thinking.
When those visions go further beyond, people think that an increase in homologous behavior and sensory-seeking behavior worsens autism.
They will also mistaken that autism is improving if there is a decrease on those two behaviors.
One very powerful way to control those,
If you scold or give pressure, those behaviors might decrease in your eyes.
However, they are not related to the change of level of autism.
Then, if sensory seeking behavior and sociability cannot define autism, what can
Straight to the conclusion, autism is best defined with two symptoms.
Sensory processing disorder and autonomic disturbance combine with each other and create autistic disorder.
Sensory processing disorder and autonomic disturbance, together start to crumble away on a child’s essential ability to interact with other people.
This process can be known by carefully examining the development of autism and the regression that occurs.
who was very normal who was able to interact with his parents playing imitation games.
There are many reports that record the development of autism and regression that starts after 12 months old of a child.
I also have several records of those kids.
A common phenomenon shown is that autism develops slowly.
All kids that developed autism at first only showed hints of mild autism here and there until it fully developed into severe autism.
When all the phenomenons during this process are tracked one by one, some common features can be found. First, their eye contact disappears.
Second, their call-in response disappears. Third, they starts to complain of vestibular sensory abnormalities by jumping and spinning around.
Fourth, they start to show tactile resistance by showing dislike to someth
