esper is the three color combination that allows for the most interesting synergy of mechanics imo. it’s an interesting flavor of control with really unique playstyles. cool color combination with cool commanders.

Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign.

She's able to cast spells for free off the top of your deck as long as they have Odd numbered Mana values each time she attacks. With the many ways to arrange the top card of your deck, you can easily get a big creature or sorcery to turn the tide. Cards like Void Winnower, Mind's Dilation, Virtue of Persistence, Breach the Multiverse, Portal to Phyrexia, and a bunch of other powerful Odd CMC spells.

Extra turns, powerful creatures, board wipes, card draw, copying, mass reanimation, are all easy thanks to Yennett

Queza, Augur of Agonies is one of my favorite esper commanders :) I run it with Teferi's puzzle box, wheels, waste not, bone miser and she is like reverse Nekusar. Also I added a Sheoldred The Apocalypse and necrodominance a few weeks ago and now my play group hates me :D

I like the ever-changing dane, use steal effects and make dane a copy, but also some legendary sacrifice sinergy

My personal favorite esper deck is Sydri, Galvanic Genius. I don’t really run many creatures or non-permanents, but what I DO got are LOADS of vehicles and graveyard hate strategies. Probably not the best strategy but I use Sydri’s ability to make my vehicles creatures without tapping any of my creatures and sometimes that makes them hit for harder or take more hits than they would normally since power and toughness is dependent on CMC. I also got an as-yet-to-be-used combo win using Immortal Coil, Fractured Identity, and any number of my graveyard exilers.

My favorite Esper commander is Sefris of the Hidden Ways, I just love the dungeons mechanic and playing with her is so fun

I upgraded the esper precon from duskmourn fairly heavily and swapped the commander for Zur, the Enchanter, but I've got the other Zur and Master of Keys as fun swap-ins too. Can play like an enchantment creature deck, control, reanimator, or Voltron depending on what i swap into my sideboard and which commander I use. Definitely my favorite deck atm.

I really wanna make a deck with ~Solemn Johnson~ Tawnos, but between my multiple vehicles, artifacts and tokens decks, there's too much overlap.

I should probably try Enchantments, I got dozen of them, even a the Leyline that gives flash.

The first commander I thought of when I saw this video title was ertai. He is just disgusting, and he usually requires 2 removal spells to deal with, although enchantments like mind over matter, pemmin's aura, and freed from the real can create scenarios where ertai is virtually untouchable. Combine that with enchantments that generate token fodder every turn, and you are on the way to value town.

I use to have a ertai the corrupted deck was fun but they would kill me first all the time so i took it apart it was fun.

Not very original but my esper deck is Alela Artful provocator based on enchantment and summoning a swarm of flying token.
