In handmids tale Season 5, June faces consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke, and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.

About Handmaid's Tale season 5:
The Handmaid's Tale is an American dystopian tragedy television series created by Bruce Miller, based on the 1985 novel of the same name by Canadian author Margaret Atwood. The series was ordered by the streaming service Hulu as a straight-to-series order of 10 episodes, for which production began in late 2016. The plot features a dystopia following a Second American Civil War wherein a totalitarian society subjects fertile women, called "Handmaids", to child-bearing slavery. The first three episodes of the series premiered on April 26, 2017; the subsequent seven episodes were released every Wednesday. In May 2017, the series was renewed for a second season; which premiered on April 25, 2018. In May 2018, the handmaids tale season 5 Hulu renewed the series for a third season, which premiered on June 5, 2019. In July 2019, the series was renewed for a fourth season, which is scheduled to premiere in 2021. In September 2019, it was announced that Hulu and MGM were developing a sequel series, to be based on Atwood's 2019 novel handmaids tale season 5 The Testaments. The Handmaid's Tale's first season won eight Primetime Emmy Awards from 13 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series. It is the first show produced by Hulu to win a major award as well as the first series on a streaming service to win an Emmy for Outstanding Series. It also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama. Elisabeth Moss was also awarded the Golden Globe for Best Actress. Season 5 of The Handmaid's Tale is premiering in 2022. Originally, the new season was scheduled to premiere in fall 2020, but production came to a halt in March because of the coronavirus pandemic. Six months later, in September, production resumed in Toronto.

Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale will feature the show’s regulars — Elisabeth, Max Minghella (Commander Nick Blaine), Bradley Whitford (Commander Joseph Lawrence), Joseph Fiennes (Commander Fred Waterford), Yvonne Strahovski (Serena Joy Waterford), Alexis Bledel (Dr. Emily Malek Ph.D.), Samira Wiley (Moira), handmaids tale season 5 Ann Dowd (Aunt Lydia), O-T Fagbenle (Luke Bankole), Madeline Brewer (Janine), and Amanda Brugel (Rita). In addition, Sam Jaeger who portrayed American representative Mark Tuello throughout season 2 and 3 was added to the main cast for the latest installment. Viewers will also spot a new face from Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House. Actress Mckenna Grace will play Mrs. Keyes, described as “a sharply intelligent, teenaged wife of a much older Commander who rules her farm and household with confidence.” The new character will show duality with a “calm and pious” exterior but actually suffers “with turmoil” and “insanity” internally. How about this ending, , Somehow, June gets ahold of Serena's child and tells her, , , READY? "My child for your child"

I really dislike Moira’s character. She acts like she’s so morally above killing but she murdered someone too!!! Why can’t she be more understanding of June and her trauma?

The first two episodes have made me come around liking Luke more, he’s really shown his love and loyalty to June. Which inevitably will be devastating when June picks Nick over him.

Gilead comes and takes Serena's child. She can not fight them because she made such a big deal for the 'father' to be buried as a High Commander broadcasted for the world to see. It would stand to reason his child belongs in/to Gilead according to their beliefs.

On the television cast of the funeral. Serena had Hannah next to her. After June and Luke decided that she gets help for her past trama. After June saw Hannah on the screen next to Serena she was Hot and Luke seen June Hot he turned and saw Hannah himself. Luke standing next to Serena he was burning Hot. The next episode will come not be a happy one after Luke and June saw on the large screen in Canada.

As for ending theory I would like to see Serena suffer to the equal extent that June has then I’d like for June to start to take down Gilead. eventually Serena helps her as they unite for the cause and all children are the right hands in complete redevelopment. Gilead which is renamed and becomes a woman and family affirming society with women in power in a free and equitable society.

Ultimate revenge+ justice..Serena gets her baby taken from her + she is forced to be a handmaid! Ending scene, bedroom of some commander, Serena on the bed being held down + being raped while silent tears stream down her end!

I would like to think Mark would never betray America for Serena unless he is in love with her at this point I dont know but yes I believe Serena triggering a gilead uprising in Canada is a very possible ending

It will be one hell of a fight between June and Serena but with Commander Fred dead how does Serena Harold so much power after all in Gilead supposedly she’s a worthless woman ????

I predict Serena will experience being a handmaid but beacause her popularity is rising in Canada, she talks Gilead into giving her a diplomat post in Toronto. Serena argues that Gilead should take advantage of her rising popularity in Canada to promote Gilead values & diplomacy. So Serena goes to Canada as a diplomat and works on becoming even more popular & powerful in order to get her biological daughter back. Meanwhile Mark & Serena begin an affair & we wont know who is using who, who is genuinely in love or what. Mark will give mixed signals and we will wonder whose side he is on. Serena too.

I think everyone underestimates Serena. I think this is her chance for redemption. She Has to be afraid of June. And remember that June told her, “you will never be rid of me until my children are safe”. I think Serena returned to Gilead to bring Hannah home to her parents. I definitely believe Serena will start the revolution! Because someone Has to pay for the betrayal of Fred especially since Serena was the traitor not Fred.
