Some Roblox scams are really intricate. Automatically capturing your clipboard or using social engineering tricks to convince you to hand over your account credentials.

But these scams, they don't do any of that.

The scams in this sacred video (not sacred) target the lowest percentile of intelligence. The Roblox iPad kids. Whether it be free robux tweets from accounts that impersonate famous roblox people or a video telling you to give your account to scammers, people still fall for these...

What confuses me the most is that most Roblox scams have something to do with "free robux" whereas Discord scams are stuff like malware that steals your Discord account or fake Discord login pages.

it reminds me of the time i got scammed for currency on a browser game (it was years ago i was young and naive)
so it led me to a website where i gave my password
but my account were so high level that they played on it (i had no givable ressource in my inventory since i spent it in a event)
and years later when i came back to the game for nostalgia i noticed that i had ways more ressource and items so i just changed the password

You would think that scammers would be smart enough to know not to put verification in the front-end... Hilarious.

Speaking of Club Penguin coin generators though, I actually did genuinely find a generator that gave my account coins. Somehow. I think I gave myself like two mil, never ran out of coins again. To this day I still don't understand how it worked, and how my account didn't get banned lol

The sad thing is that most, if not all of those kids falling for the Twitter account scams are most likely under the age of 13.

Gets worse when you go into roblox trading servers, people sending fake links, scams, cross trading etc..

Something that is also being done is these apps they have you use can sometimes include SDK's from proxy providers, and then the creator of the app gets paid by a company to use your mobile phone to proxy network connections. Most often used for stuff like web scraping etc

Edit: Since making this comment, I have had 3 subscribers from roblox scammers... go figure?

And don't even get me started about those popup Google play store ads that advertise about a crappy app that "promises robux" but actually just wastes your time, storage and is fake

fun fact: there is a setting in the video publishing settings that lets you make the viewer focus their attention to the like button, by making it glow, as seen at 0:45

This is why it's important to teach kids about internet safety and how to spot scams. My little sister plays roblox and I made sure to drill it into her that any claim she could get free robux is a scam, and she's thankfully had unsupervised use of a laptop since the age of 10 without a single virus or security breach. Funnily enough, children aren't idiots if you actually try to teach them. They have sense and will listen, they're just naive.
