Hi, i know all the books you showed but the only one i`ve personally read is Dorian Gray. I read it when i was a kid and i never really enjoyed the book. It was a bit dark and almost gothic for my taste. Perhaps i was too young too properly understood it and i`ll have to read it again now i`m older.

The film Wilde starring Stephen Fry as Wilde is excellent. Have you seen it ?

The concept of burning books as written about in Farenheit 451 is actually more reality than fiction. Throughout history right up to present day religions, dictators, nazis have burned books because they disagree with the content.

Back in 1979 in the U.S at a place called Comiskey Park a Rock radio station organised an event where they burned thousands of Disco records. At the time Disco music was mainly Gay / black music and when the radio station burned those records it was a form of cencorship. Also it was racist and homophobic. And it comes from the same mindset as people who burn books. We don`t like this so you can`t like it.

Have you ever read any books by Richard Dawkins ? Books such as The Selfish Gene, The God Delusion. Personally i think he`s the most important living author. Some of his books are as visionary as Charles Darwin`s Origin Of Species.

Thanks for sharing.
