Big Back Books! Count of Monte Cristo is definitely worth your time. I added Love Songs to my TBR.

For real, though - Count of Monte Cristo is SO MUCH FUN! My sisters and I all read it last year, and we all loved it. We read the whole thing in five weeks. Couldn't put it down, even though it's so big and heavy!

I tend to consume 600+ page books via audiobook--my hands and wrists get so tired of holding up those bricks 😅 plus it makes me feel like I'm getting my moneys worth out of my subscription when the audio is 20+ hours

Love the nails. Perfect for Spring, St. Patrick's Day, and Easter. 😉

I've had Roots and Anna Karenina on my shelf for years. I always start it but put it down for something lighter. One day I'll actually read them.

Your nails are beautiful! I loved the Count of Monte Cristo. Now I last read it when I was in high school but I loved it then too...and that was a good 20 years ago. But thank you for reminding me that I don't have a copy lol. Side note...the movie is good too!

I have had The Love Songs of W.E.B. DuBois for several months and have heard nothing but great things about it. I really want to read it too but have been putting it off because it’s a big one. You have inspired me to read it and I will start it this month 😊 Love the nails! Always love seeing your videos! Happy Reading 🩷

Damn fabulous nails! Count of MC is fantastic! One of my all time favorites. I’m planning on reading The Iliad later this year. 😊

You're nails are awesome. Giving a girl ideas. I forgot how huge Count and The Illiad are. You know there is a black graphic of Count.

I have The Love Songs of WEB Dubois on my shelf and it looks intimidating, but I might give it a gander this month. 😅

The Count of Monte Cristo is such a banger. Despite its intimidating length, it’s quite a page turner! It’s got adventure, revenge, romance, hidden identities - awesome stuff.

And I love your nails! I think that’s a gorgeous color.

At times, i can't even pick what edition to get when it comes to classics like the illad. Theres so many. I am going to buy the Odyssey in barns and noble leather-bound editions because they are really pretty

Not one for chunky books myself these days because my attention span isn't great and I get easily demoralised when I feel I'm making no progress. Longest in recent memory was IT (not a fan of Stephen King but felt like it was a rite of passage as a reader). That 1000 and something pages took me literally 19 months to wade through because I did not enjoy it but refused to be defeated. So now it's shorter things I can get through or feel less bad about DNF-ing. No Mammoth March for me, Mini March is more like it 🤓

There are new translations of The Iliad and The Odyssey by Emily Wilson that are done in prose and supposed to be easier to read. I haven't gotten to them yet but heard lots of praise about them. I know you just got that amazing deal at Barnes and Noble but I'll bet they have Emily Wilson's translations at your library.

There are also a ton of mythology re-tellings from the female point of view. Let me know if that interests you and I'll give you a list.

Loving your videos! Keep it up!
