In every school I’ve been in, the GPA that is factored in is based on your letter grade, not your number grade. If you score a 95 vs a 94, both are an A, so you get a 4.0 in both cases.

If my grade is decent, I never do the extra credit. I don't care what rank I'm in out of the whole school. I just want to graduate and get out to live my life.

I always like to do the extra credit if it it’s a reasonable amount of work. Sure, it boosts your grade a bit but it also shows your teacher that you care about your grade and that you’re willing to go above and beyond which is good for recommendations

Don’t compare yourself to others in your performance in class. Look at your grade, the grade you want to get, and then make the decision on the extra credit.

Lol I stopped caring about school and surprisingly it made my mental health a lot better, not saying it’s a good idea but I have a stable well paying job without a degree and I feel a lot better and I focused on things I loved and had fun while friends complained about college

Always do extra credit, but not to better than someone else, but to better than past you, compare your present self to your past self and see how far you’ve gotten. Good job❤️
