Did I make the VIRAL WAX CANDY wrong?

✨Recipe:
Ingredients:
• Beeswax
• Glaze for Strawberries

Directions:
1. Melt the wax in a double boiler like you would chocolate. Pour into molds and let coat the bottom and sides before pouring extra back into the pan. Do this multiple times until a nice thick wall forms.
2. Fill with the glaze of choice, then seal the top with a layer of wax.
3. Let cool, serve, and enjoy? 🤔

Tip from someone who used a similar recipe as part of my graduation project:

DONT use beeswax, it's doesn't taste good unless you treat it as chewing gum. If you still do, instead of jam, use syrup as a filling. I used melon syrup and everyone loved the taste.

Buuuut, instead use soy wax! It's edible, safe for to digest and the texture and taste is a lot more friendly for our taste buds, it goes well together with other syrup and jam fillings and has more of a candy/gum texture.

Also lastly, use smaller molds, they make the wax candy easier to digest and to chew on. Just like... gum or candy!

Wax candy is meant for ASMR because if their crack! People that make that spit them out right after because they aren't meant to be actually consumed! Also it's like gum after you chew it, so I don't think it's safe for consumption, but soy wax is safe!

There is this japanese candy called Kohukatou and it’s pretty similar to wax candy but it actually tastes good!! It is made from agar agar, water, sugar and coloring/flavoring. When you make it it comes out gummy, but you need to let it crystallize for 2/3 days and there you have it!!

It’s right that you should put beeswax cause like you said they pop out easier then the other wax you were using!❤ Beeswax is also edible! So you can chew it but I don’t know if you can swallow it!❤😊hope this helps!
