It’s PUT UP or SHUT UP time! This week on Stay Tuned, Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned dudes make a few more improvements to the SikeClone, their DIY turbocharged 4.3 V6 S10, with the hopes of taking down a REAL ’91 GMC Syclone at the track. The dudes from Race Rebuild Repeat brought out their legit "stockish" Syclone all the way from Michigan and lined em up to see who’s the king! Will the Stay Tuned SikeClone take the crown, or will it fall short of the mark? STAY TUNED to find out!

Sitting here with a 6 day old daughter in my lap, this is helping me through the sleep deprivation. Great video! Those trucks are sick.

This is what makes the car community amazing: hard work followed by respect for all. Result: fun for all.

The classic budget project: Get a cheap part to save money, try DESPERATELY to make it work just on principle, then finally give up and spend more money to get the right part you should have got in the first place. It doesnt matter how many times we do it, we will continue to do it

Tony is a scientist, Barb is the strongest man in the world and Stone is the most chilled dude ever. Love the channel guys.

AWD burnouts are the best. Congrats men on a legendary conquest. Now that it’s running right, my sons said “don’t break it Tony!”

By far one of the funnest videos so far. My cheeks hurt bc I was smiling so much. Really liked how you both let each other rip the trucks. Such a good time, good vibes. What a way to start the weekend

This one's in my personal Top 3 - WELL DONE, Gents!!! About fifteen years back I had a 2001 GMC Jimmy 4X4, but my d'horse happened before I could get started on the build - it was the first thing awarded to my ex in the settlement. Mine was going to be a bit different - a supercharger instead of a turbo, full dual exhaust with headers, and a massaged TH700 that eliminated the shift gate between 2WD and 4WD, creating a poor man's AWD, if you will. Being a 2001, it already had the Vortec heads as well as center port fuel injection.

Now with the success of your Sike, I've got the itch to finally make my lost dream happen - you dudes have proven how well the S platform takes to some gonzo mods, even if you did have to spend more time troubleshooting than tire incinerating in the early going. I wasn't worried about the end result though, and my faith has been rewarded in spades. I'd still like to see the Sike wearing the Cameo pieces one day, but it's no biggie if it never happens.

Again, WELL DONE - and I'll buy two virtual rounds for the house!🍻🍻
KUTGW!!😎

The best stuck oil filter wrench i have used is the one that has a strap and a piece of square tubing that you put a 1/2 inch drive ratchet on. Works great

Probably my favourite one to date. You guys should be super proud. To take that idea but also put it together like you did. Not as easy as some might think.

Great job to both truck's!! Man what memories this brings back. I worked for Parts city Auto Parts until they closed in 1993, i was 20 and had my 87 Turbo-T, my best friend had a syclone and worked for Nationwise auto part's right across the street. Many nights running those 2 beast from the late 80's early 90's. We both still have them today, both with less than 80k miles on them.

This thing gives me all the vibes as the Rotsun did back in the day. It loves to fail and yet still win.

Listening to the sike clone rattle around the track after beating the 50k cyclone was the chefs kiss

One of my favorite homemade tools is a strap wrench for oil filters. A 3/4“ deep socket with a slit cut down both sides of it and a piece of ratchet strap doubled through the slit. You want to round off the edge or it will cut the strap if you really get cranking on it. Works for holding pulleys and some other shit too.

You just proved why these trucks were so great and why it's so unimaginable that they were not popular the typhoons were insane also
