I played this song on my one and only radiomoderation in my hometown. Love this band about 40 years.

A band that had it all but just never quite achieved the recognition that it deserved

I heard this song the day it came out, on "Sounds" with Donnie Sutherland. The family were all sitting around watching, because my sister is in the video clip. She is the bride, and is also in the car in a later scene. Lol.
I was happy that she appeared in a good song.

Been listening to them recently. They still sound great after 35 years of enjoying their music.
When I’m not feeling great it helps listening to their fabulous songs 😁

I will never forget them. A brilliant gig I put on in Oxford. They were the second nicest band I dealt with. The nicest were.... The Young Gods. So Switzerland and Australia. Brilliant.

A perfect pop song, can't wait for spring, it's been a long cold lonely winter.

And once again Lindy Morrison proves she is one of the greatest drummers of all time.

I can't remmber who I was first introduced to the Go-betweens or the Triffids. Easily my top two Aussie bands from opposite sides of the continent. Actually, I think that il know what the Go-betweens sound like - Brisbane in the eighties, a very specific sound and time. Still love it

Supported Aztec Camera years ago (80's) at Glasgow's Barrowlands. Best concert I ever went to.

Must love that 1978 XC Cobra, awesome. Worth a lot more now than it was back in 1985. (Note: wearing seat belts = Optional)

Looks like they had a good time making this video, at 1-50 they are driving the XC Cobra down Parramatta Road just b4 Stratfield, that Cobra would be worth a mint today as it would of been a low numered Corba as it had the 4 speed Toploader gearbox. At the start of the Video it looks like it was filmed just across from the old Glebe island bridge now called The Anzac Bridge but i may be wrong, Great Aussie Band.
