『2PM』『TWICE』『Stray Kids』『NiziU』など数々の有名アーティストを輩出させたJYPエンターテインメントより2019年2月に韓国からデビューした、5人組グローバルグループ『ITZY』（読み方：イッチ）。
2021年12月に日本デビューを果たし、オリコン2022年上半期セールスランキング新人部門では海外アーティスト史上2組目の1位を獲得。2022年8月ソウル公演を皮切りに、アメリカやアジア含む全16地域20回のワールドツアーITZY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR 〈CHECKMATE〉を大成功におさめたITZY。

ITZY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR＜CHECKMATE＞は2022年8月6日、7日韓国・ソウルオリンピック公園のSKオリンピックハンドボール競技場を皮切りに10月26日からはアメリカ・ロサンゼルス、フェニックス、ダラス、ヒューストン、アトランタ、シカゴ、ボストン、そしてニューヨークとUS全8か所を公演。全ての会場でチケットは完売となり大盛況に終わった。
10月17日アメリカ公演前には、アジア4か国（マニラ、シンガポール、ジャカルタ、バンコク）の追加公演を発表し、日本でも2月に幕張イベントホールにて初の単独公演を行った。
韓国のみならず世界でモンスター級の活躍を見せている。
2023年7月31日（月）には2023年初のカムバックとなる＜KILL MY DOUBT＞をリリース、
そして、10月18日（水）には初の日本アルバム『RINGO』を発売。
