Aran isn’t a style of sweater, it’s a weight of yarn. As a knitter for 30 years, I can also tell you that sweater wasn’t a fisherman’s sweater either. That was a cable knit sweater. Fisherman’s style is rib knit. But I do love these classic styles for men’s winter wardrobe!
