On August 30th, 1932 the Ford Sedan Delivery 130-B vehicle was introduced.
The Sedan Delivery earned its name from the Tudor Sedan body shell that was converted by LeBaron of Detroit at a cost of approximately $100. Back windows were blocked off with tin, a “barn door” was fitted to the rear of the body and the rear bumper featured an indent for easier access to the cargo bay. They were then sent back to Ford Motor Company for final assembly. Riding on a passenger car chassis, the Sedan Delivery was the lightest-duty commercial vehicle in Ford’s lineup for 1932.
