Thieves targeting artificial grass in BC's Okanagan ⛳️ #caughtoncamera

A series of artificial turf thefts have occurred in communities in British Columbia's Okanagan region this year. Thieves have ripped up turf in three locations, including a public park and a child care centre, but police still haven't arrested any suspects and the motive isn't clear.

Nothing new, when I lived in Vancouver BC over 10 years ago any plant placed in the front yard or hanging plants placed outside were all dug up or grabbed off their hangers.

I’d look into the small business artificial turf companies in that area. Most likely stealing it, to maximize profits on their own installations. That one guy was huge and would be hard to miss.

It is absolutely unacceptable to be using artificial grass there anyhow.
All the environmental concerns were bombarded with, and people are so lazy and pathetic that they would sooner have a plastic lawn than tend to actual grass.
Take some lessons from the thieves and commit to getting off the couch once in a while.
