As someone that barely takes any pictures/videos with their phone and keeps all files on the cloud, the 128GB is more than enough. Heck, even with all my offline music, movies, and videos, I only use about 30GB in total.

I only use 64 GB for my SE3 and X. My SE1 and 7 only have 32 GB. The 4S is only 16 GB when my launch day 4 had 32 GB. Truth is I don't need that much storage on my phones and I prefer my Androids as multimedia players.

Since 2011-2012, I use this app for my Androids called QuickPic. It's outdated now. No longer in the Play Store. But when I want to play a video, I have MX Player Pro. This plays different codecs like avi and mkv that an iPhone can't play.

MX Player had PiP years ago. I remember grabbing my HTC One M7 and would play a video from QuickPic and MX Player in PiP mode. That's when I started to realize the power of Android. And I use MX to play movies while the screen is off.

I just never needed a lot of storage for my iPhones. I no longer keep my photos on my phones. I view them from Google Photos. My 100+ favorite movies and a few of my favorite TV shows are uploaded onto Google Photos via my Pixel 3.

I probably have about 200+ GB of movies and TV shows across 3 different Google accounts. I can probably upload some more but it takes quite a bit of time. Took like a week for my Pixel 3 to upload 50 GBs of the entire Game of Thrones.

With streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Paramount+, Tubi, Pluto TV, and Peacock, I really don't need to keep uploading my movies and TV shows from my 2 TB external hard drive.

The only reason to purchase large microSD cards that are 256 GB to 1 TB is to get for your Switch or Steam Deck. Movies, TV, and music are covered with cloud storage and streaming. Buy large storage capacities for gaming.

I do kinda regret not getting 256 GB for my Flip 3. I kept deleting GameCube and PS2 games. But that's fine because my Razr 5G has 256 and that's the one I use for movies and TV.

Getting high-capacity storage is no big deal anymore unless you're a pack rat and want everything with you or you live in a country with very slow Internet speeds. Since I live in SoCal, 64 GB is fine for me with iPhone and 128 GB is fine for me on Android.

I prefer higher capacity on Android so it's faster to move files onto Google Photos. And iOS sucks when it comes to media playback, no emulators, no torrents to pirate shows like House of the Dragon from Piratebay.

I use my iPhones mostly for streaming. Tubi and Pluto TV are awesome apps and I use them more than Netflix. I still have my LG G5 that can read up to 2 TB microSD cards but I'm too cheap and lazy to get the battery replaced.

Having high storage is just not as necessary as before. Google Photos and streaming eliminated that need.

128 GB on my iPhone 12 pro max has been the biggest storage I have it's perfect for me. I don't even use that much storage only at 51 GB.

I like having a lot of extra storage. I phones need sd cards as an option to transfer files or look at them

My old iPhone 7 was 128 gigabytes and that’s good enough for me. My iPhone 13 also has 128 gigabytes. I don’t necessarily need anymore storage space.

Hey Alpaca, I want to buy an iPhone, i'm currently using a Poco F2 PRO which I've had for 3 years. Is it possible to buy an used iPhone 13 pro 128 gig for around 600-650 dollars? Your videos are very pleasing to watch and I like that you are uploading everyday, even multiple videos!

This makes sense. I agree with your logic here

I have 5 main games which combined go to about 60GB and I don't really take pictures or videos just some screenshots so yeah 128GB is enough for me cuz less is bad cuz the games i play get updates every 2 weeks or so😅

If I’m using about 100 gb of 128 gb on my iPhone 7 Plus should I get a 128 or 256 iPad? Should both devices be the same storage? I pay for 2tb iCloud btw.
