YES! Loved this musical, and this is my favorite song from it. True story; I played violin as a child and in 7th grade, we did Fiddler On The Roof as the school play; I was the Fiddler; I remember being SO nervous 😂❤

I had such a crush on Zero Mostel after seeing Fiddler on the Roof as

Oh my word Harry! There are revivals of "Fiddler" on Broadway every few years and it always wins more Tonys for revivals. There are movies too, watch the "Fiddler" with Topol, who recently passed away, as Tevye who ids the father/lead, it is a joy beyond all things

If you liked the Broadway version of this song, Must Must MUST take a look see at the movie. That's how i was introduced to this song. FYI...The actor that played Tevye(Chaim Topol) died just recently in March. To me, he'll Always be associated with this song...L'Chaim!

I recently went to see this play again. It's wonderful! I grew up with this play. It was made into a movie. You should check it out. Sadly the star Topol passed away this year. He played a wonderful Tevya too.

I remember going to the theater with my dad to see this! He wasn't much on musicals but he LOVED this movie. He always buys a copy of it every time a new device comes out, like VCR, DVD, etc. Always gives me good memories when I hear this song.

This is a story about a poor Jewish milkman with no sons but five daughters living in Russia. The plot mingles the sometimes humourous storyline of the three eldest finding husbands with growing persecution and at the end, with little warning, eviction and exile from their homes. But it concludes on a cheerful note. The movie is long but well worth the time.

While the Broadway recording with Zero Mostel is great, the film version of Fiddler with Topol playing the role of Tevye is an incredible adaptation of the musical and one of the best ever - I cannot recommend it enough!!

I love “Fiddler”. We did this musical at school. I was cast as the Butcher’s wife, Fruma Sarah. The makeup took a while to apply but the effect was good. I no longer looked like a sixteen year old.
