I was listening to New York Mayor Eric Adams use the term “outside agitators” the other night. The first time I ever heard that term was in the 1960’s when one of the segregationist Democratic Southern Governors spoke of “outside agitators coming into this state and getting our Negroes riled up.” How times change while some things stay the same.
