Isn't the "Kronika" in the new mk just shapeshifted Shang Tsung from the other timeline? Geras also mentions that she cannot be resurrected once dead so she isn't really in the game except for a few lines said by other characters

Cetrion as Raiden’s sibling would be cracked, you’ve got two of MK’s most virtuous/dangerous characters in the same family. Liu Kang *would* put Cetrion in a better position, one that strengthens her virtue whilst not being blinded by loyalty.

Together with Raiden, they are Earthrealms most virtuous/dangerous duo. Thunder & Earth.

Like the theory but let’s be honest we really don’t know raiden when he was a thunder god. What mk1 is giving us is how he lives as a man, this explores him without his divine protection. Fujin could still exist as his own entity in this timeline

It makes sense for it to be fujin because his sister is talked about a lot for being just a sister makes me think she’s a fighter of some sort and plus it also makes more sense that it’s a girl because it was proven that Bo rai cho was brought back as madam Bo or should I say RAIDEN AND KUNG LAOS MASTER just like Bo rai cho was raiden and kung laos trainer which also makes sense because a lot of things have changed in the mk story shao khan is not married to sindel in this timeline and just a general of war to her and not to mention sub zero turning into scorpion and bi han coming back to reclaim his title as sub zero

In this new timeline, my theory is that Fujin is now Raiden's father/mother and Cetrion is Raiden’s sister. This theory gains actually makes sense considering Cetrion was basically abused by Kronika, and sometimes questioned her “new era ideas.” Fujin could potentially serve as a suitable parent for both of them. This seems to work well for all three characters as Fujin could have taught Raiden how to control his anger and Cetrion can actually be more interesting than Kronika’s guinea pig. But yeah, that’s my theory:)

I should think the second option, except raiden is not an elder god anymore, so it must be Fujin

I think they're better off having a completely original character for Raiden's sister. Maybe name her after Suijin and be a hydromancer like Rain.
