The more I hear about Ei's tragedy, the more I want to write some strange AU fanfic where the main character has time powers and goes to the past to save Makoto... HONESTLY, EI SHOULD NOT BE ALONE ANYMORE😭


Also, I feel like the story of Ei losing Makoto touches stronger than the story of Traveler losing their sibling, because Ei actually misses her sister and thinks about her even with no chance to bring her back, while Traveler is just messing around, doing commissions and tons of other stuff that isn't even related to the goal of finding the sibling (like city reputation), and once in what looks like eternity they're suddenly like "Oh, I hope I will find them"... And then back to doing anything but seeking.

I think I've noticed this for quite a while now. Sad yes, but also very symbolic of herself especially going forward down the line, from the ornament that comprises both of their own, to the sleeved side and unsleeved side, to the colors not quite being as dark as her original, but not as light as Makoto's either. A good mix between the both of them

This just makes her design even better! Love the small details in the characters, makes them feel a lot more "human"? Still, great design and character story. Wish the Hydro archon would have as much effort put into her as they did with the existing Archons.
