It's been a couple weeks since I mounted the Q4's to the R1. And so far I'm very happy with them, they have a stiffer carcass than the supercorsas which give a more planted feel at low speed cornering. I plan to do a trackday with them next month to assess them further. After that I will possibly try Michelin Power RS.

I have ran both, the SP the Q4 and a third the TD. I can say the SP actually gives better front end feel and more all out grip for the side.The Q4 started to lose traction on my 4th session. I have been running the Supercorsa TD tire only offered through a track day vender. The TD offers a ton of all out grip and at lateral entry into corners are amazing. My dealer offers them for 359 front and back on 200 series 120 front shipped. Try them out! Mtag Perilli his name is Mike, great guy. I run mine on warmers and have pushed 3 track days out of a rear tire. They are on the wear bars now and offer great grip still. Front tire looks amazing still. Q4 are okay but the TD destroys it all around .

I tore my ACL and MCL. The best thing I did was listen to my lady friend introduce me to some yoga leg stretches. Got my bend back to 100% at 130°

Try Metzler racetec rr. I have the k3 on the rear and k2 in the front. Great combo for the street/canyon. They come stock on the 2019 BMW s1000rr.

I had the same issues with the supercorsas on my V4s. Never felt confident through the front like I did with Dunlop’s on the Zx10. Juts got some Dunlop gp racer D212 and they’re giving me the confidence to push again... Smoke that max wrist flog

I have the Dunlop sportsmart 2 max and I enter the circuit and also for the street and they have never given me a scare ... I have full confidence in them

In the first 30 seconds you mentioned a bit about having issues with low speed corners. Didn't really understand if you were uncomfortable because of the stress on the body, or purely a lack of grip from the bike/tires.

The Metzler k2 vs Pirelli sc might be a better comparison...
That Dunlop is more of a Med/Hard compound that has extra carbon to warm up quicker...not exactly soft compound like the K2s and SCs

Contisportattack 3 or Contisportattack 4!! To me are the Best...for sammer and winter to any temperature!!
