This is probably the only time Rocket didn’t get mad when someone assumed his species. If he wasn’t in mourning he would rage and throw a fit. But all he can muster is “maybe I am”, since he’s probably so depressed he doesn’t care anymore

The brilliance of Tony calling him a Build-A-Bear and 'Maybe I am' is that Rocket is literally a build-a-racoon due to being a cyborg who in his own words 'Well, I didn't ask to get made! I didn't ask to be torn apart and put back together over and over and turned into some little monster!' in the first GotG movie.

I was hoping they would reunite in space in Infinity War when Tony and Doctor Strange met up with the Guardians but it didn't happen 😢
