Extremely eager and excited to see the sound test comparison and further videos! This is the first 2021 Performance comparison I’ve seen from someone who is experienced in prior models.

I have a M3 LR in Silver on order - due in February. Thanks for the tips on what to look for. Can't wait!

Collecting my m3p around March-May. If it's wet I'll be rejecting delivery. A friend spotted a defect on the door rubber seal (bulging) and the cheeky tech told him that all teslas are like that! Disn't know he had 2 previosly. If they treat people like this before the 100 miles are up then guess how they will treat yoy when you find a defect after 100 miles.

Picked my model 3 performance 2021 on 11th November and interestingly it is fitted with front mudguards? Wonder why some are and some are not? My first Tesla and I agree with you, it is a fun car to drive! Looking forward to future videos.

Great video, looking forward to your upcoming tests. I’m picking up my 2021 Model 3 LR from Southampton on Monday so it was interesting to see your experience. Bit of a shame they’re not out of the rain to check over properly.

I collected my Midnight Silver model 3 Performance yesterday (Wednesday) from Bristol, also in the rain, so difficult to really check the paint thoroughly, though along with the panel gaps seems OK. Part exchanged a 2016 Audi S3 and in comparison the ride seems slightly less firm than I expected.
Except for one thing.
I nearly dropped my biscuit when you mentioned the vibration at the end of the video . As soon as I joined the M5 yesterday and drove above 50mph I could feel a vibration which I suspect is a wheel balance issue from the rear wheels. I can feel it in the steering but not enough to point to the front wheels.
Booked a service centre visit on the Tesla app so a trip back to Bristol on Xmas eve. On giving the car another look over at home I found a small chunk out of the leather/ vinyl on the passenger side of the centre console which added to the dissatisfaction so included that on the service request. Got a confirmation text from Tesla confirming that parts had been ordered for the visit.
Overall I’m pleased with the car, but as you stated, for a £57k car having to collect out in the elements is disappointing along with the lack of PDI which should have found the above issues.

Picked my LR with 19” wheels up today, I have the same issue. Pulls slightly to the left and slight vibration from a about 60mph +. Have booked. It in but have to wait until January

Why model 3 doesn’t get factory tinted rear windows like Y????

Had my black Model 3 Performance delivered on Monday and picked up on the vibration on the first drive. Its more of a slight resonance that you can feel in the steering (not the car) from around 50 mph and stays with the car although it does become less detectable at much higher speeds . It's not a traditional wheel vibration as the steering wheel is rock solid. I have found that road surface plays a part as does the amount of miles driven from cold. I drove it yesterday and today up and down the same piece of road varying the speed between 50 and 70+ and the vibration pretty much disappears as the tyres warm up. During the warm up process you can slightly alter the resonance by applying and holding the slightest steering input such as a bend on a motorway where you slightly load the steering. I honesty think its the tyres flat spotting whilst parked and based on previous experiences with Pirelli P Zeros they will get better with miles. Our Mini JCW was similar when new and now at 1700 miles the steering is vibration free.

They must of changed the collection place. Back in September, I collected from elsewhere in the docks (smaller car park with a protacabin as the office)

God I can’t stand the look of the turbine wheels, why couldn’t they keep the 2020 wheels?

Great video and best of luck with the car. I've a SR+ due in February and am a little concerned about the range of the car in winter. Can I ask in your experience what is the real world range in winter? Thanks

On my 2019 Model 3 Performance I get a little bit of rattling too, though, it's only at a specific speed it seems. Sounds lke it comes from the rear reading lights area, that box that the reading lights/ultrasonic alarm are in. I keep meaning to get it fixed but I forget about it when I'm not at whatever specific speed triggers it. Should probably use TRAX to find the tone that causes it. :)

Great colour tbh. And liked your tag’s strap too. Mind sharing the details of that strap

Hi, been watching your videos, which been interesting. I have model 3 performance on order, but was wondering about mud guards and paint protection film, was considering the Tesla products, but there are a lot of 3rd party products out there, so it would be a great to get your opinion on these things please

I am interested in charging speed ( 250kw max possible or not?) and acceleration 0-100km/h and 100-200km/h. Kind regards

On my new 2021 model 3 I’ve had heating issues where the heat would stop working. This has been happening to a lot of model 3 and model y owners who picked up their 2021 cars. Some people get this issue early. (early as 30 mins after taking delivery. Or like me who got this issue at 350 miles.) Have you by any chance noticed this issue in any of the new model 3’s you’ve owned? My service center said it was a discharge sensor that needs replacement.
