Показать описание
To find a resting heart rate, count the number of heart beats for a total of one minute, or count the beats for 15 seconds and multiply that number times four. Discover the normal resting heart rate, usually between 60 and 90 beats-per-minute, with information from a board-certified cardiologist in this free video on heart health.

Damn! I'm 130 BPM at rest. Caffeine, cigarettes, and anxiety might be my culprit :l

But what is resting ? Is there a criteria for that

This explained how to take your pulse not your resting heart rate. The video totally omits the criteria for resting. A cartiologist should be smarter than that.

The lower the heart rate the better. Preferably between 60-75.

What dose it mean by weak pulse? Does it exist in tachycardia?

That information is a bit basic coming from a Cardiologist.

He could have clarified some myths, like when during the day to take it. Taking the heart rate standing up, seated or laying down. And obviously not soon after exercise.
